Genesis 1:27 tells us that God created humans in His own image. We have innate worth and value that doesn't come from what we do. It comes from God, and who we are created to be reflects His image. Our vision is a world where every person with a disability finds hope, dignity, and his or her place in the body of Christ.

We invite you to join us for a special needs ministry training session after the main service on Sunday, April 7. All are welcome! Lunch and childcare are provided.

This special needs ministry training will equip you to better understand the needs of an individual, family, or ministry impacted by disability.

In this training, we will address:

• What defines a disability?
• Types of disabilities
• How to be a friend to someone impacted by disabilities
• Safety for the person being served and the friend serving him/her
• The family experience
• How to manage behaviors
